Well I know I may not be the most popular person around here after my somewhat controversial views on robo-pet, but I figured id post my big news here... I got offered the job I have been gunning for today at Alcan Engineering and I start on monday :D Im as happy as can be and dancing like a madman at the moment :D :cool:

That's good news cuz, always good to get the job you went for. You will most likely get thrown in the deepend at first, and you will have to push yourself for a while. But you learn stuff everyday and find new reasons to push yourself.

My only advice: Practice your fully slick alt-tab manouvre to hide Internet Explorer for when you sense the boss is approaching. Works a treat for me!

Yeah its a bit daunting, im gona be the youngest and least expercianced guy in the office, I suspect things will get rather hectic for me rather quickly but its the highest paying job I have ever had and I should be able to set my sights firmly on this coilover GB comming up, then save up enough to get all the bodywork fixed up and respray her.

Once thats dont, no more dangerous overtaking for me... Ill be sitting at the back looking at the shiniez.

youll find theyll put you on the ****ty jobs for a lil while, just to get to know everyone and so on...get you used to the workplace then youll work ya way up the ranks and thats when it gets fun :D

I suspect so. However I really dont mind, its a entry point into the industry.

Id make coffee if they asked me too, provided they paid me...

Killed clown? Not sure what you mean... Then again I dont watch alot of TV and thats probobly why I havent seen the add.

I dont want to blow it all on the car... Id like to save up a good chunk of cash, my reserve fund is looking rather small after the whole BPT conversion thing earlier in the year.

Well I tossed it up for a while but decided against it...

I love the BG too much.

Hmm, so coilovers are a no-go'er? I was under the impression there were a couple of brands for the BG's. My other option of course is matched spings/shocks and strut/swaybars...

no there is a couple of brands out there for bg's. ryan was telling me on the nebo cruise about 2 months ago. i think they are D3's. but don'
t hole me on that.
