What's a fair price???

Went to look at a pranged BG SP which i am looking at to get the electric windows from g series gearbox, bigger brakes etc. When i spoke to the guy on the phone he was thinking of $600.Having seen it i was thinking he'd be lucky to get $300. It was stolen and pranged so the inside is trashed, heaps missing. The door trims don't look to bad, will go to look at in the daylight tomorrow. What do you guys think would be a fair price. The motors done 270000 odd kms.

If they don't call you in a few weeks then it wasn't what you wanted anyway.

left him a letter with an offer of $300, so will see what happens, looked at it in the daylight and it is a brothel. Looks like it's been used as a bin. It has what looks to be a 3" exhaust all the way through and i think i should be able to clean the door trims up enough to look good again + it's got the bigger brakes and G series box to what mine has. Anyhoo see what happens
