New RX7

A while ago there was a bit of conversation about RX8 and I mentioned a new RX7 that a Mazda guy had told me about. Hardly anyone believed me.

Check out the new Motor mag. 220kw 1.6l Renesis NATURALLY aspirated. New car should be fairly light as well, and they reckon a cabrio will be launched as the Yanks want the next MX5 to be a lot bigger. Japan said no, and this leads to a bigger sports convertible - RX7 cabrio.

220kw from that motor n/a is what blows me away!

I'll take a look.
Last rumour I heard was that Mazda didn't want happy with the overweight sports car and things were going to change. If you want all the bells and whistles then buy an Rx-8 but if you want a true sports car then the Rx-7 is your car 8).
Also heard that the new 323 range would be rearwheel drive sharing the driveline of the Mx-5, allowing a rotary engine option. Don't know how true :wink:

323 will be fwd, it is sharing the new Ford platform with the next Focus. I do have a pic of the focus, fully undisguised, and will put it uip if i remember.
