A mate sent me this:

What on earth is it?

That pic was taken in a junk yard in Las Vegas, apparently.

And it's not a Ford, or a Chevy Monza

No prizes for guessing though ;)

And i have no further clues than that.

Looks like an Alfa GTV with widebody panels.

The front guard makes me think of a Datsun 240/260z... with widebody panels :)

Chris, look at the rear bootline, it doesn't have the TNA look about it that the Datsun does. And only quality Italian steel goes like that. :p Or maybe they stuck the two together? :confused:

possible, I didn't pay enough attention to the boot. just the way the front guard arches made me think of the precious datto.

Guy at work is saying it's a Giacalotta (sp?), V8 version of the GTV6 he reckons...

Giocattolo = bastardised Alfetta -> Alfetta = GTV

but no, not a Giocattolo. They only exist in Aus.


Looks a bit similar to an Alfetta though, except the wheelarches and B pillar is in the wrong spot to me (apart from it's arse being quite different)

Plenty of room to fit the chev in there and get a bit of the weight back towards the centre :)
