Engine conversion started

Well its about time that i did my turbo conversion to my BA so i pulled my car off the road this afternoon at 4:30pm.
My 3rd year apprentice who wanted to learn how to do a engine swap help me.
we set to work removing the frount bar and radiator followed by a/c pwr steering and so forth by 7:30 we were removing the c/v's and removing the rear roll mount on my bp. we tied back all the wireing harness and removed all engine mount bolts except 1 in each mount and we left it there as it was 8:30pm so by 8:45pm we would have had the bp out of my car. not bad on time if i do say so myself.
now the plan is to have the motor out friday afternoon and the fly wheel machined on sat morning with the bpt in my car all put back togeather by sunday night. it was very very easy to pull the bp out so im hopeing for that ease to remain why i put it back in i will post photos when i figure out how. :) :) :)

yeah man i did have to de - gas the a/c i did it at work :)
ok now for an update.
i finised the engine swap on monday after i started there was a lot of custom things that needed to be done and a had to also find a banjo bolt for my turbo oil feed line.
i then had the car towed to kirrawee mufflers where it is having 2and a half inch stainless steel mandral bent intercooler piping and a 3 inch exhaust put on it.
i am also using a stainless rear duel muffler witch i think makes BA astinas look so much better in the ass end. this should be compleated mid this week hopefully im yet to know the cost i will post it when i know if anyone was wondering.
After the exhaust and intercooler pipeing is compleated i will be towed back to mine where i will customise the front bar for the intercooler.
Then i will be towed to JEM tuning To have the engine bay wireing adapted to the bpt and the Haltech ecu hooked up and dynoed.

i just came back from kirrawee mufflers he had the 3 inch system done all mandrell as well cost me a bit more than expected but its still pretty cheep heres what i got done: 3 inch off turbo to a double braided 3 inch flexi joint right under my sump so when i boosts and the engine torques back and forth the system will be fine 3 inch high flow cat with straight 3 inch to the rear of the car all mandrell, then into a custom stainless steel muffler at the rear with 2 2 and a half inch pipes from the muffler reaching out the both sides of my car with 2 stainless tips. it looks great and im sure it will be loud :) .
he told me that i should get a tow truck tommrow arvo to pick up my car cause it will be done. so thats some good news.
ok so the cost :( the exhaust system without the intercooler pipeing cost me $1250.

not a bad price considering that you got a custom weirdo rear muffler section made. but it will look awesome if i imagine it the way you described it.

yeah man got the tips there the oval old school ss commodore tips but there wider and cut on an angle to conture my rear bar
