If someone is gorgeous on the outside but a shallow and meaningless bimbo, with no personality and can't hold up her end of the conversation, you are only getting a root and not a woman!

As for carefully applied natural looking makeup, when I met everyone for the first time on CAI day, I didn't wear any makeup, not even so called natural looking makeup.
I resent the fact that just because I don't wear makeup, it is implied I just wear carefully applied makeup. That is crap!

Bottom line is that not all women want to spend their time in front of a mirror putting on makeup and primping, personally I want to be out playing with the cars and stuff.

I resent other females speaking for me and in this instance I have become so pissed off that I have to write a reply. If one of the female members of AstinaGT has an opinion of females without makeup, I hope it would be specified as an opinion. To say that most females look different and not as good without makeup is a bit presumptious, considering she doesn't know what I look like!

I think most guys with brains can differential between the carefully airbrushed images in the magazines (Fast Ralph or Hot FHMS or whatever they're called) but at teh same time there are some people that live the makeup is good when applied, and a woman is nothing without it world.

I'm basically the kind of person that likes a girl for more than just her face, it's the package, hair, eyes, etc etc and ofcourse the personality. We're not talkignt he perosnality that can be of the kinda that falls on the floor during foreplay either (padded bras can lead to dissapoinment) we're talking the kind of personality that makes the member of the opposite (or same gender I guess) fun to be around. Some kind of intriging mental hook....

I certainly am over the kind of girl that has to put on her face before crawling around awrecking yeard looking for obscure bits for an obscure car becuase of the slight risk one of her peers may be aroudn to cast a frown upon her for not being made up.

As for brains honey, I have undergraduate degree and done post graduate studies (on a scholarship from the Children's Hospital), cause I was so SMART! Now in my Job, I have a position as a team leader, where i have up to 40 staff under me.

As for beauty... I did a short stint on Home and Away a few years ago, i've done two midori commercials and a few years ago, was in a smarties commercial! I've even been girlfriend of the month in FHM!

As for cars... I also own a 4WD, in which i've particiapted in many events, winning trophies in the female class for BOHO bounce and the VIC winch challenge (for anyone who has heard of them) So yes, I can drive a car, OFF ROAD, better than most females...

Speaking of which, off road drives interest me so much more, than "tinkering" around on my astina.

Im also involved a four wheel drive forum, which is identical in layout to this one, and NEVER have i ever seen anyone be so rude and judgemental to any one there....

Car dealers in a particular area don't sell cars that are a colour of another gang etc. And, like they're female couterparts, have a fashion section.
I know enough to know that they're airbrushed (anybody who saw the Holly Valance shoot would know what I mean. If she's not touched up, I'm chinese, and I aint chinese). There is a lot more to anybody than what they look like, with or without makeup.

Well I should maybe explain myself here...
I never meant to cause that much ****...

1. I still stand by my makeup thing
2. I still think a woman can look good without makeup but not as good with it on. That was what I kinda meant by the supermodel thing.
3. Depends on what you like
- My personal opinion is most chicks look good with makeup on or better.. Not the ones over done. The tasteful stuff.
- Some ppl prefer the natural look
4. Its not just about the person inside to me. Far as I am concerned the outside is important too. Type of clothing, makeup and hair really represents a woman's personality and confidence. Actually not just women but also men. The initial attraction for most relationships is physical so you cant rule that out.
5. I have met some very nice Magazine featured girls whose personalities are heaps more attractive then their looks. I have met some real nasty ones though.

It all comes down to your personal preference. One person might think no makeup is very attractive then there are others that think a bit of touch up makeup is unbelievable..

I hate to do this but its no different than a car.
Some ppl love beautiful smooth show car paint and no imperfections others just like factory paint because its the right colour, the shape of the car is perfect and how it drives.

Well I guess that BigMal has proven two things:
1./ A woman can be appreciated with AND without makeup ie/ she can look like a real person and then she can look like a spak filler victim too LOL

2./ That photographs are amazing in what can and is done to them. It is just unfortunate that young girls reading cleo and dolly and whatever else is out there, kill themselves trying to look like something that was created on a computer or airbrushed to look "just right'.

sometimes I do get on my high horse and whip it into a lather, but I guess we all do when we feel strongly enough about a subject. This is just one of those things... it's like why do we need women draped across the bonnet of a car to sell us cars? Does it make the car perform better, does it mean I will get upgraded interior for free, does it mean the rubber sticks better... *ahem* anyway, I really enjoy reading about cars and would buy magazines if it weren't for the schlarpies and woogus's I have to put up with. OK, maybe I am no babe, but I am certainly not ugly or unattractive either.

I dunno, maybe I am just too stubborn and pig headed about it all.
Maybe I just have strong opinions that I fight for, am proud of and that rightfully or wrongfully are all mine.

I, too, can go the whole make up thing, I have pictures of me when I went to a ball that astound people that know me, hell, the pictures of my wedding day don't look like me, and thankfully I am no longer married either, LOL.

In every picture I have had taken of me, I always look different.
It doesn't bother me.
I have my pic taken with or without makeup.
I smile, I stick my tongue out at you, I pull faces... who cares, it's joining in with the group, having fun and sometimes poking fun at oneself that gets you through it all.

I have been away lately, back in the sterile environment. Everytime they let me out, I cry softly to myself and thank whatever gods or spirits are out there that I am still here....
