Only a few quirks.
The hydraulic lifters can be a little noisy, an oil change with good quality oil fixes that.
The idle air control valve (IAC) may stick closed, a squirt of WD40 fixes that.
All FWD cars can have problems with CV joints, the Astina is no better and no worse.
The '94-'98 (BA) can have a little but strange leak on the drivers door. The water only gets as far as the scuff plate.
The suspension and handling are first rate for its class.
Only down side can be the interior trim is a little uninspired.
