Nice. I'm glad you got the manual, I've only driven a Mazda2 auto and I wasn't too impressed with the tranny.

Yeah I've only driven the autos, and I found them average at best.

Congrats on the new ride, and I love the colour!

I only test drive an the manual, I wasn't realy interested in a 4-speed auto. It needs to be hit with the lowering stick and could do with an exhaust note and probably another 20Nm.
The odometer now reads 175km and the fuel guage reads 3/4 full. The little 45 litre fuel tank should be good for about 650-700km.

For a good chuckle visit here (http://www.demio.mazda.co.jp/).

Throw on some 20's and drop it on its nuts, then throw on a kit and spray it!

dump in a twin turbo motor and a fat exhaust..

Well I said I saw a friend at a club day at Sandown run his SR20 DET powered 1980 GTV and that it stopped on the back straight.
I also said i wouldn't race the 2 but a spirited drive through the Dandenongs isn't racing. Racing to me involves competition and race tracks, not public roads.
