Ok, I was up in Totara Park (if you know Wellington you'll know where I mean!) looking for a mates stolen car when my clutch went VERY loose! I stopped the car and looked under the hood to see a small piece of rubber pipe pissing out hydraulic fluid all over the road! :x

Luckily my mates 87 Honda Prelude came to the rescue and towed me the 40km's home to Newlands with the dodgy Repco tow rope only breaking three times...

Now I've managed to get this little bastard pipe out and I'm going to need a replacement. Would it be more worthwhile getting a replacement from Mazda or getting a new one fabricated?

if it's straight, i'd just say take it to a generic hose seller and get one of equivalent burst strenght, but if it's a molded piece (ie bent), i'd try for a mazda one as yo wouldn't want to use a straight one and have a kink in it

cheers

Damn, what a pain in the arse! I didn't realise that these have hydrolic clutches.

Subnote: has he heard anymore about his Lude yet, other than it been stolen a 2nd time?
