Its time to change the aging 323 for something new. Need repairs, new tyres, someone put a dent on the fender and rego/insurance is due.
Well, I finally bought myself a new car. It's a Black SP23 Manual Sedan with DSC. Will be picking it nex week.
looks like alot of ppl are upgrading to new cars! hehe.. nice choice!
is it the face lift model or the original style?

Dynamic Stability Control.
Another 3 owner then :D
Hope you love detailing, the Black would require some TLC for sure, but looks stunning! Congrats on your purchase.

Does DSC apply braking force to wheels where and when needed? If so, does it also have EBD and ABS as other standard features?

Vehicle control is taken a step further by Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) incorporating traction control. Optional on all models, this innovation minimises the risk of skids on wet or slippery roads
And yep, ABS & EBD are standard.

Congrats on the SP23.
The EBD feels a little strange the first few times you notice it working, I'm envious of the DSC.

Got it today. Love the car. A big step up from a 11 year old car.

ah yeah. wine has made my eyes/brain go funny, and didn't bother to look at pics :D mind u, i'm not a fan of the leather option neways. i reckon the cloth in the sp23 does great justice for the interior, esp in the red sp23 :D :D
hey silver, what's w/ the alloys?! have they changed the classic, stylish looking spokes from the previous model??

Yeah, no leather. There was a 3 month wait for leather/bose. Apparently the SP23 are selling out before they hit shores. There loads of Neo's and Maxx available. This one was suppose to be there showroom model, but I grabbed before that could happen.
The new (FL) model comes with different allows, and foggies. The bodykit is also a little different. The front Grill gives it away.
Total cost onroad is around $33000.

whats drive by wire?
It's an electricaly operated throttle body. I'm still not 100% sure that letting the ECU make the decision is a good idea but I'm getting used to it.
