I have a BG Astina (89-94)
The BJis the latest shape.

each letter code just represents the model type: rather than saying the years of production, u can just say the model code. Same as Skylines... R30, R31, R32, R33, R34 etc.

Australian model years:

BG is 89-94
BA is 94-98
BJ is 98-01
BJII is 01-now

this applies to Astinas only, as 323 Proteges spanned the same model years. IE the 1st gen Protege was sold from 89-96, the last 2 years as a cheapie model

hehe, okay, the gen1 protege (when sold in 94-96) was the 'introductory' model for under $20k - as the new 323s were a lot more

and i said australian models, as i know the Japanese BA was introduced in 1993 :)

BA brought here (to israel i mean) in 96 and sold 2 years till 98.

most of the cars with automatics gears but few with manuals gears are present/

(sorry for my bad english - but im trying :wink: )
