hehehe, when in England in 2000, there was one of those where my relations live. They actually work (once the locals get used to it). It allows you to travel both ways around the round-a-bout, so if traffic is heavy to the left, you go right. Getting onto it though can be fun, hence the individual mini round-a-bouts at all entrances. Uncle reckons it cuts traffic jams in half.

wtf??? i would love to see that roundabout in heavy traffic... i have no idea how that would work! esp driving the wrong way round?!
