These are not cheap, when I was looking into coilovers, I believe they were around 3-5K.

yeah only issue with coilovers is they only have 60mm adjustment from standard.. my car is currently 80mm so there is no use for myself who would buy coilovers to rest it on the ground

Yeah $3500 is a bit rich mate. Noltec do them for about $1000 cheaper.

Your other option is the set from Ground Control which Rupe currently has.
I was quoted $750AUD shipped to me about 3 mnths ago. Mal and I had several discusions about the Noltec vs Ground Control setup at the time.
The main differences we found are:
a) Import vs Local : The imports dont come with any RTB warranty so if they dont fit stiff ****. At least with the Noltecs they are a local company and any problems should be rectified easily.
b) The Noltecs are welded to the strut casing whereas the Ground Control are sleeves over the strut. Sleeves are an advantage as you can always sell them on to another person easily. The Noltec would be alot harder to transfer between two cars (not impossible).
c) The GC's are shipped with Einbach (sp?) springs whereas the Noltecs are not shipped with springs, so you will need to add spring cost onto the top of the Noltec price. (bringing it to around the $1500 mark depending on spring selection)
These are just my observations/notes from my enquiries a few months ago. Hopefully with tax return looming I might be able to get some :)
