Hey,

The Garnish On BA Hardtop (From 1994-1998) Is It Possible To Take It Off ? Cause Mines All Dirty And Has Marks Everywhere - Want To Paint It As Well As Other Things, But Just Wanted To Double Check If It Can Be Taken Off Before I Attempt It ?

yes, it comes off.

Fairly easy. Take off your numberplate, as there screws behind there.

Open the boot, and there's black plastic nuts on each side. Take off the carpet lining of the boot, and there's a couple of goldheaded screws to undo as well.

Don't forget to unscrew the lenses for the numberplate lights, too. i think you've got to remove them to get the garnish off, but it's been a while since i looked.
