Clutch BPT

Hi All,

can anyone confirm or not the following:

Clutch size:

GTR 4WD 230mm
GTX 4WD 230mm
F series FWD 200mm
G series FWD 225mm

Im slightly confused...I have a FWD G series box but I was told by the guys that did my conversion that im running a orig (new) GTX clutch, can someone explain to me how this is possible? I need a new clutch but am confused to which I need? Will the GTX flywheel fit in the G series box?? think that must be what I have...

The GTX/GTR clutch is 235mm, not 230..even though that's what it says in this thread http://astinagt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1722

But yes, you can run a GTX flywheel in the BG and BA G series boxes.

They probably just left the GTX fly on your engine when they did the conversion, and got a suitable clutch based on that.

It's only the usable surface area that the 200/225/235mm relates to - the overall diameter of the flywheel is the same.

not really, no. Not unless you're going to be pushing big power where you need the extra surface area.
