Hey Guys hope u all had a good chrisssy.... I am happy to announce (although u probably dont care)....that i am now looking for a kick ass 92- 94 model BG SP... I have been racking my brains and working my ass off trying to get the money together so i can buy the car and instantly make it sweet. I would just like to thank everyone on the forums for all there help (especially Bourbon, Rupe for there mechanical knoe how and Chipa for his audio knowledge) but alas there is but one more thing to ask..... I was just wondering how you go about painting the surrounds around your steering wheel. I mean what paint and how to prep....Everyone has told me to pay someone and my grandpa is a car painter but there is so much more satisfaction in doing it your self....thanks for all your help and sori bout the long thread...i just get emotional sometimes lol chers

If you use a good quality plastic primer you will have no problems doing the top coats with any spray can system

is it just like take off, sand back lightly...., spray with primer (how many times?) and then top coat (preferably enamel based with about 7 light coats) should i protect it with a clear paint? or doesnt it need it. i want to make it resistant to scratches you see....
