what do you guys think of the 2002 holden vectra JS2 2.6L v6? Have u drive one/ do u know someone who owns one? are they any good? cheers.

On looks personally i'd rather an Astra - i reckon the Vectra looks a bit big.

Thanks guys. Ive been reading reviews on the internet and they all say vectras are lemons!

I dont particularly like the new underpowered astra. Its too heavy.

I like the series one Mazda 3 sp23...Im gona do some research about it.

Are they in the same price range? if so not a hard choice there.


Have heard SP23s are a bit thirsty but thats the only complanit I have heard. Otherwise people tend to love em,

and to me they look awesome which is something no one in the world would say about the vectra,

Also been in a few Vectras as they where the fleet cars at my old job, did not seem to well put together for a opel (who I expect decent woprk from), unalligned interioir plastics etc. Plus they have all had significant bucks spent on them, much much more than my older 96 323 had over the same time, plus I was quicker in a 2.0.

Just to confirm you are talking about the older shpe ones not the new one, so if the 2002 model looks the same as the 2000 my opinion stands.

Yeh, the 2000 and 2002 look the same. Thanks guys...wont be getting a vectra then. I was considering it because I like the dashboard screen and the mirrors.
