shades - what does it mean?

what is the difference between a '96 323 shades and the 'normal' 323?

and why don't GIO have a V6 shades model listed?? :roll:

Only difference I know is a sticker that says shades....

I have the shades. seems it comes with the same options i.e power windows, mirrors, steer & a/c. Maybe they were end of year/model clearance for a cheaper or drive away price.

My g/f (Miss 323) has got the shades model. The pattern on the seats are different compared to the other models. Not sure about any other differrences though.

Shades were just the optional extras pack

you know, for an extra $1500 (or whatever) you get airconditioning and tinted windows, alloy wheels (see all those hatches with those damned auscar shadow spoke rims around?) and a few other things - basically a few of the optional extras as a package for a lesser price.
