I used the stock radiator, had eveything ready for first start up
primed the oil lines etc...oil light went off, no leaks all good...ok i'll start the car
5 secs later of running the car i noticed nice pile of oil on the ground....
After taking EVERYthing off again. i found this!

Don't worry buddy it happens to the best of us. Better to do those things now and not at 100km/h on a freeway when by the time you slow down car could be rooted.
But LOOKING GOOD

If your engine mounts aren't hard as a rock, I fear that will connect with your radiator from time to time... Looks groovy though. :)

Yeah friend had solid mounts in his Tx-3 and I can tell you it won't save but what we did was put a skid plate in a very very thing like 2mm thick sheet of alluminum between and it did the job of saving the tubes, untill a new custom radiator was made to fit in under the support - removed his a/C

Rod: He's already removed a fan and the brackets that support the radiator and then secured it as far forward as he can with twist and zip ties.
Maybe until you can get an aluminium 1/2 width radiator, you could put a limit strap on your engine from the firewall so it can't ram into the current radiator when you change gears?

Nice manifold! But that's causing the problem.

Gee then he needs to put in front of support instead, did that on a torana to get a 454 chev to clear

i think i forgot to mention that i have another twin core half sized radiator getting the end tanks changed to suit the mazda inlet/outlets
so this radiator is only being used for the time being, as a test....
and yes the radiator supports (zip ties/wire) are only there for a week . untill this other radiator is done :)
