A few modded Mazdas at the show, including the PAC MX6 drag car, a ton of rotaries, one of those little AZ-1 kei cars, and a Mazda6!

to answer your questions:

a) no, it's not a real NOS bottle, but it keeps my drink warm.
b) no, it's not running...trailerbitch!
c) no, it's not as low as it can go

funniest things i've heard so far (when asked about the car)

a) is it channelled? (as in body drop a la minitruck)
b) "that guys got NOS, mum"

Yes, Dan's car did look good... Here's a slightly lower down shot... [I do apologise for it being slightly blurry.. It looked ok on my little LCD screen! A lot of the pics that I took [about 70] came out slightly blurry as it was a bit dark in some places and the shutter speed was trying to compensate for the lack of light...and I didn't have a tri-pod/mono-pod..

The Wretch mobile looked hot indeed! I thought it looked a tad high, but had plenty of people asking what it was! Even my cousins and friends that came didn't know it was an Astina. It looked great Dan! Sorry I couldnt stick around for a chat, we had a bbq to get to back in Doncaster.
I didn't actually get to meet any of the Sydney folk, as 1) I totally forgot!! and 2) car audio isn't my thing...give me Euro and S2000!!
Sooo many S2k's... umm yeah, I have pics, and will try post them up via digitalpose again.
Hardly any promo chicks... wtf?!?!!

*engine probably run in in a coupla months...not sure exactly! i'm in no rush
*Fuzzy Dice and i polished it at his place on the trailer (cleaner/1 coat polish/1 coat carnuba wax) then anotehr coat once the car was in place at the show
*Nah, didn't win anything, but didn't expect to. but one of the guys in the club got the 'cranking all weekend' trophy
* and i *think* i took a pic of the Mazda6...anyway, it was a yellow hatch with the full mazda kit but the mazdaspeed 'open' grille and black 18's

yeah, there's no badges on it at all, and it was funny to see heaps of people walk around the back of it looking for a badge - and then failing to notice the giant AstinaGT.com sticker on the back window :lol: :lol:

oh yeah, some of the saddest/most annoying news that i heard at the show.

Was talking to a girl from Ringwood Mazda (who incidentally hated my car because a NOBLE GREEN one ran into her and wrote off her her Subaru Vortex...a deserving death i say!) who mentioned that their spare parts division recently wrote off $64k worth of old stock/spare parts as no-one wanted it! it all went into the dumpster! DOH!
