A.Yeah, but after giving it some thought I'm just not sure I wan't to spend $1300 on coilovers even if it's the bargain of the centurary. I currently have to provision for insurance, swaybars/stutbraces, paintwork, seatcovers, smaller steering wheel, panel filter, Microtech flash with wideband gauge/UEGO. Add to the list a possible wastegate failure pending? It got stuck open on for a few hours on the weekend, but it closed again after a while.

I guess it depeneds what springs/shocks/bumpstops will all add up to on all four corners...

What are we after?

I can get Dobinson/Kings/Eibach Springs, KYB/Monroe/Tokico Struts...

Or...

Pedders, in all three spec levels... Not a bad thing at all... and have the springs to match their valved shocks, and I've got very good pricing on them... They also do matching bump stops etc.

Strut braces both nolathane, pedders and whiteline do... The first two i've got good pricing on, the later not so good... but can still do... Often with strut braces they can be had cheap on ebay.. have a squiz first.

Sway bars.. Whiteline, as above... still below retail, but not any special.

SuperPro bushes... see other thread, excellent product, ridiculously cheap pricing! ;)

Hi,
I've been looking around and you seem to be able to get a great deal on a suspension setup

can you post up some setups of both coilovers and shocks and the prices to match i'm looking for something to provide a comfortable ride

also what kind of pricing can you get for strut braces? and sway bars?

thanks champ :D

this is the setup im thinking about getting

to accompany my front strut brace, and whiteline 22mm HD rear swaybar

kyb excel-g shocks
Low King Springs
nolathane adjustable (camber and caster) strut tops front only.

are the strut tops going to raise the front height much? would it be worth going Lows on the rear and superlows on the front?
any other recommendations/suggestions?

That would be a good start! ;) Dont' think nolathane do them, do you mean Noltec?

The strut tops shouldn't change the height at all, they've got both bell above, and bell below versions...

would it be worth going Lows on the rear and superlows on the front?
No... just lows all round, even with the strut tops...

any other recommendations/suggestions?
Not really, just other than bushes... The KYB's and strut tops will compensate for King's not necessarily being the absolute best, but they are cheap, and do do the job.

You've already got the front brace, and rear bar, just do the above, and that's pretty much it, unless you want to start spending big!!!

ok i ended up gettin,4 kybs, already had king lows so just using them, all bushes front and rear, superoo or what ever the hell they are, whiteline rear sway bar, white line rear strut brace and now whiteline fron strut brace as pedders thought astina and familia were the same, and hopefuly noltec are able to make my front strut tops adjustables, also rear camber bolts...
