A mate of mine has a Teg. . . Fairly old but goes hard - like most Tegs do.

But I wonder - What would it take fo a BA to smoke a Teg.

Tha Teg is fairly standard just has an exhaust.

Any info would be useful

Cheers guys

hmm this showdown is all going to be undertaken at a legal drag racing venue with proper saftey equipment i.e. helmets and all that stuff. you have a cams liscence too yeah??

primo we dont need a cams licence to drag at the drag strip up here if its test n tune... but anyway... a BA with the DOHC and manual should be able to at least keep up with the teg...

my mates got a teg (89-92) and his only has exhaust and he says my BG is just as fast...but what youd need to do is a few more little things...exhaust (plus extractors), pod + cai and that should keep you beside him hopefully...

the spinging thing next to the engine red astina was talkin bout was a turbo on your BA hebz :p haahaah!

There's nothing particulary stunning about the performance of a DA Integra LS, so there's no reason why a lighter BA couldn't do just as well. Even a base DC GSi isn't that quick...

What Gav said.

DAs are nasty nasty cars. DCs are much better, but GSIs are about as quick, and VTiRs are not that much faster if i remember correctly.

Haha turbo. Shhh How waz I supossed to know :P :P Don't think I'll go quite as far as a turbo though.

Yea I think theres something been done to tha engine - like its been bored or something. Something that hes not tellin' me anyway.

Sooo Exhaust, Pod + CAI. . . sounds Juciy. What price tally are we lookin' at here? :P

Thanks fo' all tha positive feedback guys, appreciate it. :)

Cheers

If anyone sees anything thats discounted, let me know! :D

Haha Thanks once again guys.

What exhaust system is tha best. Personally I think that cannons are ugly things :p but thats just me. I thought that there were others that provided more power anyway. . .

I havent really noticed any around anywhere, so I thought I'd just come right out and ask :)

Cheers guysI've got one sitting on a bench, but it's only 2" in and 3.5" out. Very quiet for a straight through though...

Hmm how quiet :p Don't wanna go silent - just a sexy growl :p Bit nicer than stock sounds and as much power as possible from an exhaust

Haha not asking much am I :p

What size would fit snuggly onto an astina? 3" in and 3" out? :)

Have you fitted yours to anything Gav? Any benefits?

Cheers

I heard someone driving my car around one day and I thought it sounded fine, there's no real discernable tone from the cabin, it's just more exhaust noise I s'pose?

It would stay as 2" in and 3.5" out. This is the famous magic muffler that defies physics and allowed my car to achieve an extra 20kW ATW with I/H/E, with plenty more power to develop past redline that that you cant' even get to without aftermarket EMS...

I had it on the SP18 for about 13-14 months. Removed as the remainder of my exhaust was so heavy it started to sag and bash against my lateral links. It will fit any car, but the axle-back piping and hangers will most likely need tweeking.

I'm not sure I want to let it go as it won't take much to adapt to a future exhaust for myself. But even if I don't sell it, you can look at it and see for yourself what it looks like...

Hey thats cool man, I'll just be interested to find out information - have a looksie at it, sounds exactly what I'm looking for.

How much did you pay for it?

Thinking that I might have to order from brisbane . . .

Cheers

Do a search on "twin loop" on eBay, and you should find some XForce, Mugen and OBX brand twin loops to choose from. The cheapest you could get one is prolly about $180-200 new these days.

Coolies cheers on tha tip.

I already had a tiny look a saw this one:

3" in bit too big?

3" out is a bit small :p hehe

But thanks again, I'll keep a look out - prolly should get one from Australia too. . . . :D

But not for NA? Haha

Would 3" intake even fit? or some tampering required. .

Pity it is in US :(
