Melbourne Autosalon

Hey Guys,

It's been a long time since I've been on here.

If anyone is interested, I'll be going down to Melbourne this weekend for Autosalon... It would be great to catch up with some of the locals down there! (Dan, Adam, Sehnkhan, Dogo... I'm lookin in your direction boys!)

Hope to see some familiar faces at the show. If I look a bit off guts its because I probably am... the boys have a big drinking weekend planned... oh dear!

Are you heading back to NSW Sunday night or staying around for a few days?

I should be getting to Melbourne between 3-4pm on the Friday arvo, and will be leaving Melb Monday morning around 9am.

I'll be at the show the whole weekend, we have our club down so won't be leaving the arena anytime pretty much.

lol Primo... Autosalon is heaps of fun.. no way of getting bored with the crew I'm going with.

The new additions have been graphics (won best graphics at autosalon final battle) some new lighting on the car, HID's, and just tidying up the engine bay and stuff.

I had a few other things that are currently in the process of being made (bodywise) but didn't get em completed in time for this show. Should be all set by Sydney Autosalon in May. After which, the car will have a total makeover.

Last night my bro and I re-tuned the car ready for the long drive. I'll be putting it on the Dyno in Melbourne too.

I'm taking my video camera so will have a lot of footage and pics when I get back.

LoL I always go insane at Autosalon... I guess I have trouble appreciating the cars or something I don't know but it's an effort to stay for a long period of time... on the other hand I can spend all day at a Show 'n' Shine... Autosalon in newcastle is always boring as hell with about 10 intersting cars out of probably 200 shown? This year the was the odd Supra... a Corvette... a Clubman kit car... a Torana... a sweet Datsun ute... a cool Commodore with scissordoors(why?!)... there was a Caprice on airbags! My favourite was a VZ ute turned into a monster truck!

All the other cars were mearly a stock car with a cannon. (Should have just left them stock!) ... meh!

Possibly... I had other plans for the weekend but they're crumbling a little now, likely to change completely so should Sunday free up, I might be there. Would be great to catch up, and see the progress of your car.

HEHE THIS YEAR MAY BE THE FIRST AUTOSALON ENTRY FOR ASTINABOI WITH HIS SHOW WINNING PRELUDE....... once its finished...

but yer im trying to get the prelude done (exterior) within the next 3 weeks and ready for autosalon.... Hopefully it will be beside a Suby which is also geting done up atm to enter besides me.....

All depends on how the paint turns out :p

Hey Eddy,

They are starting to cut down on the stockers now... you actually have to prove your modifications and there are a certain number of points per mod to allow entry. This year should be the best series yet.

Sehn, would definitely be great to catch up.

Astinaboi... might see you on the autosalon rounds once your prelude is complete... it just never ends once you start with the mods hey

OMG 4am wakeup for me tomorrow... ouch!
