Does anybody know how I can find out the trim code for the interior of my car?

The reason being I'd like to find a replacement driver's seat as mine is broken.

Im pretty sure you'll find the code you need on the placard in side the drivers doorjam,if not look on the compliance plate :P

yep - paint and trim codes located in the door jam of the drivers door (looking at the door opening, it should be the lower left).

I've checked both compliance plates and the info in the door jam but can't find it. The only information I found in the drivers door is the tyre pressure information. :(

Any ideas?

I found mine on the 'B' pillar. Not on the door but on the opening.

You may find it cheeper to go to an auto trimmer. Genuine parts can cost big bucks, Get a few quotes first.

I enquired through mazda about a new seat and they said they don't stock them, and neither does mazda japan BUT it is possible to order them.

Well guess how much it would cost..

$2474.98 plus GST!!!!!

ROFL

Could get a nice pair of recaros for that price..

I dont think thats a rip-off!

How would u like it if u got an order for a seat that wasn't made in years and all the equipment has changed! You have to go out of your way to get workers to set up heaps of machines again just to make one bloody chair! I would charge that aswell!!!

Just go the the wreakers man!

I'd think that would be the price for six years storage or grabing one from a wreckers and having it re-covered before shipping to Australia. To make one from scratch I'd move the decimal two places to the right

You could have one seat repaired and all of 'em re-trimmed in less boring colour for less than $1k (not leather) 8)
