not but 20 mins ago i had the mazda parked on the side of the road cause my g'friend was taking some photos and the guy across the road was back ing out...he wasn't looking behind him and reversed straight into the drivers side front bumper.....after standing still for a split second in disbelief i went and asked him if he was alright....he answered by telling my i was a hoon and should'nt have my car parked on the side of the road....he said it was a stupid place to park...i then replied by losing all humanity and kicked the main fence post of my G'friends house swore a bit and then went inside....apparently he promptly drove away...after all of this i inspected my baby to find there are no immediate dents and the scratches will be gone when i paint the car in a month or so.....but really im a hoon cause i have a mazda and park on the side of the road for my missus.....i say stupid 60 year old shouln't have his license if he doesnt know things come form behind when you revese.....

Hey you are in Brisbane, worst drivers in the world right here... Last night on the way home I was in the left lane on the motorway, one car length behind another car when this little piss ant van decided to merge in between, they actually sped up to merge... Crazy thing is there was nothing behind me.
So I basically got the sh!ts and put the exhaust in her face and clutch in vroom vroom (imagine the sound of a duck farting in the wind) and then sped off...
Totally agree with you Zappy, some are born to drive, others need to be reminded to breath.
Why kick your gf's house instead of having a go back at him ?
scare him by taking his details for insurance purposes.

Dogo, that is one sweet ride, but what is the go with the dashboard speaker, it is sticking up a little. What you trying to hide a 12 in sub in there or something?
Notice that you and Rupe have the dials in the dash, very neat job, is there a thread on how?

That's how old people always react when they're in the wrong and the other person is a youth, especially if they have a speedy looking car.
I would definately report to the police and insurance company, if there is ANY marks at all get him to pay, even if you are painting it in a couple of months. There is no excuse for him reacting how he did.

He would HAVE called John a "hoon" because he is young AND has a fart can on his otherwise stock BG. Plus he's prolly seen John drive off briskly before too (as have I), which with the fart can adds a hoonish note about the car. ;) However the "old guy" is still a stupid dumb**** that thinks he's earned the right to drive backwards without looking. But he's wrong on the last count...

I got sandwitched in my 180sx by an asian lady who couldn't speaka da engles, and then her wild cranky husband gets out (cause she was stuck with her door against my passenger door) and says, and I quote: "Is your fault cuase you was look like you where speeding".
To which I replied with something that I cant say here, but along the lines of do you need glasses, you hit the side of my car at the rear wheel, do you really expect to be given not at fault for this crash?
Police eventually came when the idiot wouldn't move his car, and they asked us to move around the corner to sort the mess out, as she drove around the right hand corner with a green arrow for right hand traffic to turn, she stopped half way, I stopped, and police crunched the back of be (just wasn't my night).
We all eventually got around to the bus-stop around the corner, stopped, had a chat, the police deemed me 'not at fault', placed this on their report, and we left.
I was quite lucky, from the Asian lady in the VOLVO, I had a small dent in the front left guard, a scratch from the rear wheel to the front wheel that looked buffable, and her tire marks on my wheel.
From the Police I had a light scuff that looked polishable, and they had a bent blue light which I straightened by hand and then told them no damage, so it didn't happen.
On her car was a nice long scratch, placing a fold in her panel, and a shattered indicator light.
I got home and a few days later removed the under-plastic from the wheel and popped the panel out straight where it was pushed in, didnt hurt the paint, and came up looking like it was never bent, then I got the cut and polish out and cut the scratchs back, so no damage to my car really.
I eventually got a call from the insurance company, deeming the entire accident to be her fault, so I asked them just how can someone that cant speak english and cant read it be deemed to have understood the terms and conditions of holding an australian licence, and be given finance for a car, and hold insurance for a car if they cant understand the terms on the paperwork they sign. (insurance had no answer for me).
I agree, some people are born drivers, and can handle a car, others should stick to a pushbike, or transport on foot.
BTW, fromt he skid-marks, Police estimate my cvar was traveling at roughly 15 - 25km/h at the point which I slammed the brakes on, and dudging by her marks, I locked my brakes when she made contact with me, so there was no way I was speeding when I was in a 60km/h area, approching a 90 degree right hander, under brakes, and indicating.
Damn stupid drivers.

as everyone has said ****EM.
I amazingly have never had problem in my own cars.
In fact even when at fault no one has ever claimed one me. Even some old lady - ???? stolen car ??
I dont' know - I've had bad luck driving other peoples cars.
One thing I've learnt get the cops involved if not at fault and person is questionable - no matter what AGE. The odl shifty ones are worse as they try to use age and crap ( remember they have all the time in the world - what they don't know is that you might have it as well) to make you look bad nad make you go away. Or they fob it off to there kids who think and love parents so they don't know the truth and won't belive you. Untill you show them pictures.
Even insurance companys will NAh that car never hit you.
I've given in photo's of Both cars at the incident even driver - gee didn't know a P -plater could not drive a expensive merc. You buy a fancy phone USE IT.
