Yes, that's right, I don't know what to do now......
but after being in the luxury Honda Accord Euro more than once I am in lurve......
Bigger wheels
Lower it
Tinted windows
Graphite duco
all the bells and whistles including.... are you ready for this one... blew me away.... besides the individual climate control (driver can set for 21 degrees and passenger can set for 24 degrees) you also have.....
*drum roll*
Heated Leather Seats

*wiggles butt*
"I could like this...." she says....
*drools*
So you will all have to shoot me now.....
I feel so ashamed.
*goes to hug the Astina*

Oh I still have the Astina, so save the spanking until later fella's
The top of the line, luxury, sports shift (triptonic auto) with all the bells and whistles, the heated seats, the sunroof, the premium sound system, the leather interior, the individual climate control, the 140Kw's, the actually built in Japan and not Malaysia or Thailand, all singing all dancing top of the range model is only a mere $46K including dealer delivery etc.
If you say it really fast, it doesn't hurt so much.
*sigh*
The dilemma, the dilemma!
So, understandably, I still have the Astina.
:D

You can get a Mazda6 Luxury Sport for that price... I don't mind the Accord Euro, but i couldn't help but think they ripped off the 6 with its front end styling a little bit.. Maybe it's just me but I'd prefer the M6
Still the Accord isn't a bad looking car.

I have looked very closely at these two cars and have decided that for the price that the honda comes in as a better car
Honda has more power
6speed manual
HID lights
Standard Sunroof
Automatic wipers
and better fuel efficency

Can I just add that I was also suprised to find out the VERY cheap servicing costs and intervals on the Honda?
1000k's $100.28
10000k's $94.76
20000k's $155.84
30000k's $94.76
40000k's $290.59
50000k's $94.76
60000k's $215.76
70000k's $94.76
80000k's $413.74
90000k's $94.76
100000k's $215.76
And that is from a print out in front of me from Rolfe Honda.
I would be most curious to compare that with a Mazda 6's recommended servicing and prices.
I am not putting the M6 down, but I have to say, that the specs on the Honda "seem" to **** all over the M6??
And fella's..... HEATED LEATHER SEATS???
Individual climate control? OK, you as the driver will set your cc at 21 degree's and won't care that your passenger set's theirs at 23 degree's, true.... so no worries on the dual zone climate control...... standard cruise control, power windows/mirrors and the 8 way electronically adjustable seats are probably available on the M6 too, most of the bells and whistles are..... Mercedes like indicators in the side mirrors are cool if not necessary too.....
It's the 2.4 litre iVTEC power unit @ 140kw's (7kw's shy of the Integra type R!!) even on the 5 speed auto sequential shift ~ drive by wire technology! Double wishbones front and rear, high tensile, highly rigid steel body ~ rear swaybar not required, LOL!
6 CD in dash stacker sounds sweet! still wondering if you can add to that though.....
Not really sure about, and still trying to find about this Airbag SRS curtain....
I don't even know what a M6 weighs compared to the Honda's 1430kg... but I do know that sitting in the luxury M6 and talking to your passenger sounded echoey (if that makes sense) and the dash seemed plasticy and when we test drove it up hills and stuff it didn't have that pull like "gimme more" that is desirable in a car.
The honda has that feeling of a beast that wants to be unleashed, even in the auto.... I have NEVER in my life been impressed by an auto..... hated the things, manual for me all the way, but this car....
it just seems full of surprises.
All I can say, is go drive one.
Or maybe not, then you might find yourself in the same dilemma as me!

Looks to me like Honda wanted to make a Mazda :D
The Americans get a 3 litre V6, come on Mazda we want that too
What's the point of heated seats, are they telepathic and turn on automaticly 10 minutes before you get in? The Astina heats the rear by a vent under the seat this would have similar properties but is more heat/cool by stealth.

Would PROB by the Accord. I drove a 6 Limited the other night, and while it had enough grunt (well, never enough.....) and body control was great, steering was dead. I couldn't own it simply because of the steering! No offence to those that have one, coz it is a great alround car. Is the Sport-Luxury any different to Classic and Limited in steering?

Kitty and I took a Mazda 6 Sports Luxury Hatch for a spin some months ago.
My impressions:
It drove nice, steered nice and all that.
The power seat was too fiddly
It misses 2 cylinders
It's $45K in manual form
It's Gutless
The interior echoes and the trim is 'cheap looking'
The Honda on the other hand matches and beats the Mazda is every area. In top of the line mode it's $46120 Driveaway with the 5spd auto. Yes I'd buy the auto! The manual box is nice but doesn't suit the style of the car.
Actually out of the three I'd say take a very close look at the new KL Verada GTVi.... It's a Verada with VRX suspension and engine... Quick and Cushy and bigger....for the same money... no heated seats though..
