Earthing

Has anyone read a recent HOT4 magazine article regarding earthing and tried it out ?

It sounds a little weird, but maybe the SP20 or other astinas could benefit from this if the factory setup of earthing is poor.

The mag article had some pre/post dyno tests on a Daihatsu Mira of all cars and showed a 0.5kw gain from memory and they also tested on a 200sx that had a 3kw gain, though the 200sx was also pullin 300kw at the wheels.

So in reality we should be getting at least an increase of close to 1% on our cars, and hey 1kw is still 1kw increase and it all counts. :P

Yes,
It's an oldie but a goodie. It worked a lot better on older cars were the coil is remote from the engine.
The better the circuit the better the spark (Most people concentrate on the plug leads and forget that the earth needs to be upto the task).
You could improve the earth to the Distributor but if you forget to upgrade the 12V supply then you've only done half the job.
