sum help with rims 4 sp20

hi there guys
my girl friend is looking at getting a set of 17s or 18s 4 her sp20 but i was sure the offset was 45 but have also been told its 48. doesn any 1 know and can any 1 tell me what the off set is 4 there 17s or 18s on there sp20 is..

also if any 1 has any suggestions on rims 4 it that would be great
we dont mind driving 2 sydney 2 buy rims either

i have my gg upgrade 10 spoke 17 inch rims off my mazda 6 that we mite try on the car aswell so we will c how they look n fit

any help n suggestions would b great

Orion Off this site has fitted the 10 spoke Mx5 Rims to his sp20 and it looks tops! Im pretty sure the offset for the Mazda 6 rims are +55 offset, so u may have a bit of trouble with scrubbing etc. What kind of mags are u after? Are u looking for something stockish, race spec or blingish???

I've just replaced the rims on my Sport20, with SP23 rims. 17x6.5, ET 52.5. With 215/40r17 toyos. Have a search on here, you'll be bound to find more info. 45~50mm offset should be fine. :)

45 to 50mm offset will defo be fine with a 7.5" wide rim. 45 would be the best.
I have 8" rim, and +44mm (6mm spacer) offset on the rear, +50 on the front.

Rear needed arch work, front doesn't.
The rear wouldn't need any work if I had a 7.5" rim though. ;)

um shes after something more racy or sumthing that goes to the edge. not 2 keen on chrome.. i will give the mazda 6 rims a try on the weekend. the tyres r alittle 2 big but i will get an idea wat they look like. will let u guys know

The Mazda 6 rims are 55mm offset, from memory, so i think you'll need to space them out in order to clear the struts!

ok guys i put the mazda 6 rims on 2day and they fit great. they still have the 215/45/17s n theres no scrubbing or anything at all. i then put a set of 3mm spacer on the rear 2 make it abit better n no scrubbing anywhere at all. the car still needs to be lowered 2 inch but its given us an idea of what they look like.. now all she has to do is decide if she likes my mazda 6 rims or not
