I went to start my car on sunday and it wouldnt start, and every time i closed the doors it would set the alarm off and lock. so after breaking into my car to get my keys back me and my brother tryed to roll start it but because it had no battery the alarm wouldnt turn off so the immobiliser was still on and wouldnt roll start so we jumped it and after about two k's the alarm went off and the immobiliser turned back on and the carshut off..
so what im getting atis if there is a manual shut off for the alarm system on a 92 bg astina

the BGs didnt come standard with an alarm...what system is in it? also is there a black cylinder thing in behind the bar infront of the A/C condensor witha key slot on top? if so put the key into it and turn it...will hopefully turn it off...

There should be a manual override button somewhere if they is no key slot.

a manuall overide button? on an alarm? never seen such a beast. It'll be a key, look under the bonnet for any kind of black box with a key slot theat doesn't look factory. Worst case it'll be under the dash or in the footwell but almost certainly it'll be under the hood.

I have a kill button/switch that turns it off. Theres a box under the bonnet where I put a key in, but that only puts it into silent mode?

got the same steup in my car as well
and another thing to look for is the control module under the dash ... many alarms have a fuse in it .. i'll leave the rest to your imagination
