Alpine CD/Tuner CDA-7893 (US Model)

Same look and spec as Australian Model CDA-7894RB except for:

- No MP3 Playback
- 4v preout only for sub, front and rear 2v

Purchased in the US July 2002 build date May 2002. Used in car for 10 months. Immaculate condition.

Heh you can buy a brand new HU for that with MP3 support and 4V pres on all channels not just the sub. Any non-mp3 model has basically gone to the cleaner in price when they released the mp3 HUs.

Yeh.. I just bought myself one of the Alpine CDA-9813 Headunits.. Gotta go get it but i'm pretty sure it's got all 4v preouts. Definately MP3/WMA and it's got a remote! YAY for me! :roll:

thanks for the feedback re Mp3's

but as far as i am aware of, the only Alpine model with all 4v preouts is the CDA-7894RB (I'm basing this on the website and not sure if its current)

I have yet to see the alpine 79 series

Sound like my HU is worth more to me than in the market.. :cry:

Yes, last time i check the Alpine Australia website hadn't been updated.. They're a bit slow unfortunately.. you could try the US site though at www.alpine-usa.com...
