Family holiday woes…

Now that the Smith family is all growed up, and independant, my folks have decided we should have an international family holiday. The current theme seems to be either pacific islands or an aussie city. (After experiencing a 7.8 earthquake on Vanuatu, i tend avoid islands…)

If i'm gonna be shelling out hard earn cash to holiday with my family, i'm sure as hell not gonna spend it reading inside, or going on nature tours.
Any suggestions? Family age ranges from 60-2… (my oldest bro has two little kids)

Where could we go in your fine country, thats gonna provide a good base for a week. Should we stay put, or attempt to road trip?

at the price of fuel atm i would stay put maybe in the sunny coast...i tend to stay away from the gold coast but if you have kids theres sea world, movie world and dream world theme parks for the kiddies and the elder few adrenaline seekers....plus we can finally meet you in person....i originally come from sydney but i would advise not goin there atm...what with the flooding and all...hehehe
