[color=#000000:post_uid0]brad,
if ur after must see anime, may i recommend Initial D, it's abt these group of ppl who r into cars and regularly race down mountains, drifting, modifying their cars and so on.... may not have an astina in it, but it has cars such as rx7 series 3 and 4, r32, slivia, sil80, evo3.. and more..
another must see is Spirited away, it recently won an oscar for best animation of the yr. (made in 2001-2002)
Princes mononoke is also made by the same ppl who made Spirited away, this was released in abt 1997, also a good flick. but it's a pretty deep movie.
and just another favorate of mine would be Macross plus.
with the mystious city of gold, that was also kind of an anime, story was created by the french, but they seeked animators from japan, so it had that anime feel to it.
who here remembered the short docomentries abt the myans that were shown at the end of each mcog episode? none of my friends remember it, but i do. i was actually traumatied by it, as i remember on one episode, it showed a headless chicken running around with blood squirting out of it's neck. i will never forget that.[/color:post_uid0]
