Window rattles - Now Fixed !!!

my window rattle worries are gone, yay..

i here you ask..

well it wasn't cheap, and i wouldn't recommend it.. but here goes.

go to work - come out of work and find the drivers window smashed :evil:

take car to windscreen obrien's pay A$400 to get new window, when the guy fixes the window the rattles go :(


on a serious note - when the guy gave me the car back he asked if i had any problems with the window rattles.. he said that a part that held the window in had worked loose and was sitting in the bottom of the door. he put it back together when he was fixing the window and all the rattles have gone.

so you other guys with rattles may want to pull the door apart and check that everything is tight :D

Next time I have the urge to pull the door trim off (haven't had it yet but I'm sure its only a matter of time) I'll look into it.

i get a squeaky noise outa my drivers front door! im guessing that its a cable rubbing agains the window as the noise disapears when the window is down! hmmmmm any ideas!?

nothing was taken. the window was smashed but in place when i got to the car.. when i opened the door the window fell to pieces all over the ground.. had a quick "ahh f#ck it" thought then drove home..
