Sounds crazy big, I imagine if you want to roll like that you'd have elastic bands for tyres (if you want similar rolling diameter and you like that look). Though I don't daily drive a BJII, i think most would agree?

check my profile gallery i got 18x7.5 on my astina sp20, tight fit though i had to roll both guards. still scrubbing on rears with people in the back on some corners.

fwa, sp45ho, that IS tight. Looks good though! Not many people are willing to go that one step further and flare their guards though. Love black rims. Personally always wanted a black car with black, red pinstriped rims.

Not sure of cost for lowering, i guess minimum cost would be for your low/super low springs and then labour. People will always recommend shocks to match though. Sort out your rims first then work out how much lower you really want after they're on.

well i might not lower it depending on how low my bodykit will make it...
cos i want to be able to get in and out my garage lol.. and its a semi steep driveway..

Mmm definately rims and kit before lowering =)

At least if you get some large profile tyres on the 17's to fill the guards more then you'll have a bit of extra clearance by having a larger diameter wheel. If you do, keep in mind the legal rolling diameter posts and speedometer changes.

Otherwise get some 70 degree speed hump style entry angles happening haha

thanks smikey, i definately agree, rims and kit b4 lowering, my suspension setup cost me around $1100 springs, shocks+labour about 2 and a bit inch lower.
but if you decide to just get springs should only set u back around 350-500 depending on what brand you get.

thanks bear, infusion, 18s definetly fill the guards alot more, but u risk the trouble of running 215/35 profile, this is also my daily driver so i have to always look out for pot holes, speed humps, and always check my tyre pressure, also how much weight i sit on the back seat and those kerbsides!. Its all a big hassle, but damit it looks sexy. 17s give you more rubber but not that much (215/40), was just a tad more comfortable, no issues of rubbing either, give it that you get the right offset.

I had 18s running 215/35s for about 6 years ... no real dramas (except for those potholes where you can crack a wheel ... but you learn to dodge those) ... I'd definitely go down that path again
