Sad to see the 323 had an accident. Given the amount of money youve invested be sad to see it go :(

When I crashed a Lakeside, I had my car in at the mechanics the next day, as I had a motorkhana 5 days later. Dave my mechanic wrote "Chuck Norris was 'ere" in whiteout pen on the panel damage.

alex_d 21-09-2011 06:52 PM

Oh, i thought it might have been your driving style, i chuck norrised an mr2 on the track once, but i came off second best.

Good to see it's back on it's feet :)

project.r.racing 07-10-2011 11:29 AM

Finally getting refund from Justjap. Only took 31 days. Cannot say I'll do business there again.

Clean_Cookie 07-10-2011 12:38 PM

Great!

marcs_sp20 07-10-2011 01:03 PM

Good news, are you gonna give coilovers that Troy/2XS can get a go?

project.r.racing 07-10-2011 02:35 PM

Troys are no good as no camber tops.
YSR if mx5mania will return emails.
K-Sport I can get for $1200, do I like orange?

Clean_Cookie 07-10-2011 06:33 PM

Matches the rest.of the car

project.r.racing 02-11-2011 06:59 PM

Put on new headlight and indicator this afternoon, (thanks Catherine).
And beat the crap out of the bonnet with a hammer and cardboard to put it back into shape.
Now have a legal drivable car now.

Clean_Cookie 02-11-2011 09:37 PM

Forgot I have 2 looms and lights I took from the wreckers for you lol. Oh well. My bad. Hopefully those clips arrive soon from China too. One day I'll visit and pickup stuff!

project.r.racing 27-12-2011 09:15 PM

Sold both the 949racing 6UL wheels and Maruha F-cams.

Now looking at Enkei PF01 15x8 +35 wheels as the support big calipers. And Maruha F-cams for NB8A 88-00 MX5 with Mazdaspeed Motorsports Devolopement solid buckets and Supertech shim under buckets.

wheels $1050 shipped
cams $850 shipped
buckets $200 + shipping
subs $88 + shipping

Next is to complete the Wilwood big brake kit and paint the ghetto multi coloured car.

lovely project R :)

project.r.racing 09-01-2012 01:05 PM

Got half way through the coilover swap.

The rear kit has one of those swaybar bracket setup that screw up and down the damper. Which means at a minimum, it sits 75mm higher on the damper than the regular bracket. So now i need end links that are longer than the standard endlinks.

More waiting.

So the end link bracket is normally in line with the top strut feet bolt hole. as you can see, it is not much higher on the strut.

Also has a 12mm hole, not a 10mm hole like stock size.
