800 calipers have the same bolt spacing however they need a larger bolt. From memory you also need thicker disks I.E. HC929

800m Calipers
DBA 4000 T3 Clubspec Rotors
QFM A1RM pads.

Yeah, MX5 Turbo rotors.

I have already got V6 hubs.

Nope not really, well u might need your 4 stud hub axels and some new hub axel bearings and thats it

Alright. Test drove thr car slightly today, noticed a problem with the coilovers.

Now I understand strut tops will make noise, as they always have, bearable noise.
Now they are clicking very very loud. So loud my father heard from inside the house and came outside to see what was wrong!

Will be tearing down the front end once more. Replacing the springs up front but doubt that will change this noise.

I have taken a video and ill upload it ASAP.

Check the bolt that goes on the shock and hold it all to heather.. Ryan had this issue last month. They bolt looked tight but it was still lose and allowed the shock to lift up and down and make a bang/clunk noise :)

This. It sounded like a swaybar link was loose, but was the top nut on the front strut top.

Ill give it a go n see what happens.
Wouldnt it have a specific torque setting?

hhhmmmmmm yer but just do it up as tight sa u can.. thats what i did... no issue from mine in 8 months..

Clean_Cookie 20-01-2013 10:55 PM

Too tight may ruin the bearing. Make sure it still is able to be turned by hand afterwards

SLY 323 21-01-2013 07:58 PM

There is no way that could be tighter!! I cant move it!!
WTF

Rupewrecht 21-01-2013 09:28 PM

Are the camber plate sliders tight? Is the spacer still between the bottom of the pillowball and the top of the strut? Are the top/bottom of the springs free of dirt and grime and the same for the spring rests at each end?

SLY 323 22-01-2013 09:15 AM

Ill check that all out tonight when i pull it all down. Hopefully its something simple.
