Project update...

No update. Planning on club rego by the time it's back on the road.

Update time again...
This week the drivers MS seat has been out and the mounts extended 50mm rearward.
I've also started riding the gearbox rebuild a bit hard.

Update,
Visited the gearbox guy today. Still in pieces and no ETA so I went and bought a box from the wreckers so I can get it on the road.

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE!!!
Almost together mechanicaly, just waiting on the intercooler. I've decided to timker with the electrics my self... What's the worst that can happen? An electrical fire which destroys the car and burns down my house, meh it'll buff right out.

Wiring a BG GT-AE BPD to the series 1 BA hatch. I have the wiring charts and I don't expect it to be done too soon.

ow that will be quite easy :) only issue i had was i think the thermostat switch for the ba comes through to the ecu. Ba's have a 3 wire temp sensor (2 wires being temp and thermostat switch and the other being a common ground) and bgs have a 2 wire temp sensor and a separate thermostat switch.
