you are gonna have to replace the rubbers inside the runners for the power mechanism.

jfresh1 23-06-2009 07:50 PM

Funny enough i have the same problem but when i pulled the door apart i found that there is some wheels that go up n down the runners and they have broken, im now trying to find out where i can get them as mazda has told me i have to get the whole kit for the electric windows. im kinda thinkin he full of s%&t

project.r.racing 25-11-2009 10:10 PM

he is telling you the truth sorry. i have been lazy and not made my new ones yet.

Advv 25-11-2009 11:59 PM

I have the same problem for the passenger door window too. Seems expensive to fix so cbf.

I'm gonna get a poly resin from Bunnings that you use to make moulds for things, and just cut the shape/wheel that I need. Been on the list to do forever. Will need to do it coming into summer now though.

my drivers window is rediculous - so wobbly and i cant just press the down control or it drags it too far and the back of the glass sticks up :S i really want to fix mine too but idk how = i havent bothered looking, was just waiting for Ryan to get bothered and post up a good guide haha. :) theres some motivation haha

project.r.racing 26-11-2009 01:27 PM

haha ok. i'll probably make heaps up as i'll need only 5% max of the resin you buy to actually make a whole set for 1 car.

Rupewrecht 26-11-2009 01:44 PM

I'd be up for a full set too, as my passenger one is fubar (but not the drivers, oddly)

maztech 26-11-2009 09:43 PM

The 2 guides on the window also come loose -- take the glass out and tighten them this also helps to eliminate the play in the window

jfresh1 28-11-2009 07:05 PM

all my windows are rooted to so ryan if you can make us a full set just let me know how much you want for them

project.r.racing 28-11-2009 07:13 PM

not a problem. job for the new years i think.

is ya car running/going at the moment? or garaged still?

jfresh1 28-11-2009 08:20 PM

project.r.racing 28-11-2009 08:21 PM

the motor i got off you is perfect. hasn't missed a beat since installation. will have to catch up for a proper chat. as never got to last time, as was in a rush,

maztech 29-11-2009 06:23 PM

I have a reg with a stuffed bush in my garage will talk to the people i know at fulcrum to see if i can get them to make something for us out of a swaybar link bush or similar

kap82 29-11-2009 09:52 PM
