About the 323 astina Instrument Panel
Hi, I just bought a 2003 Mazda 323 Astina hatchback (1.8L) two days ago. I found that it don't have an engine light on the panel. And our mechanic took out the panel and he can't see the place for the engine light. I wanna ask if this model have engine light on the panel or not? Thanks :D

I've called MAZDA today, i asked if this problem can still pass the road worthy, but that guy said it won't and it depends on different model. I wanna know if anyone have the same problem? Because I am afraid that if there is no engine light, i'm not gonna realize the problem of the engine. Thanks!:( https://s32.postimg.org/64wqs7tcl/IM...180200_HDR.jpg |
Should be on the left side, above the ABS light. Most likely the globe has blown.

You don't need a check engine light. It could be unique to the SP20 and the 2 litre engine.

The 1800 doesn't have a check engine light or ABS for that matter
