swift jimmy 23-08-2012 09:16 PM

Ben - didnt notice much of a difference until going around tight hairpin like corners.. keeping in mind all the suspension stuff thats in the back of it

Just got to get my LCA brace and carbing front strut brace from rupe.. as the front feels abit average now cause of it

Haighie - if u want to see the install in person come for a drive pictures dont do it justice on how neat it looks

I love roundabouts in mine and it's only got the sway bar and some struts. Cant imagine how epic it must be in yours marc.

phildough 24-08-2012 03:30 PM

Try my car if you think Marcs would be fun, mine has got a rear sway bar, front and rear strut brace, Autoexe 5 point chassis strengthening kit and a Sport20 Rear bumper bar brace!
The Autoexe front sway bar is in the shed waiting to be fitted.

Bet is on that my car has an Autoexe front sway bar before you get your 4 year old dent in the door fixed.

marcs_sp20 24-09-2012 04:13 PM

3 years, get it right old man ;) Only took you a month to realise I had posted it :p

And they were Jareds words, not mine

good luck finding those... they're so rare because nobody really bought them... they existed on the market for only around 3 years, at most... they discontinued them pretty fast compared to other autoexe products for the sport20!

unless you are adamant in having genuine items, it'll be easier and probably cheaper to copy what phil has.... get together with other AGTers and you might even save in labour costs/reverse engineering costs as you can just spread out the expenses ;)

by far, it'll be easier to find the autoexe ram air intake... the autoexe big throttle is the 2nd rarest thing for our cars from them, and still easier to find (I've seen a few over the years)

update 26-09-12

- side passenger mirror is fixed
- 18's are wrapped in kumho ku31 215/35r18 rubber -- saturdays job of fitting them
- extractors are on with new cat (and hole after for the 2nd 02 sensor)and full system from cat back

just need to get longer 02 sensor cable like what Marc had to do and the exhaust is done

Ice88 26-09-2012 10:40 PM

Nice man. The mazdaspeed extractors should serve you well, would love to see a set off a car one day to see the difference between the autoexe and the mazdaspeed extractors.

there are less then a handful in the US currently.. So yes rare and hard to find when they are found they are crazy expensive.

Damn! Mabey you should get a whole batch from rupe sent over??
I have to say... For strut braces... They are the shiz! Alloy one literally weighs nothing ;)

swift jimmy 27-09-2012 10:35 PM

seems all rupe brings in is carbing strut braces hahaha

like Aaron has mentioned they are the shiz.. more chassis stiffeness

order my 02 extension cable 36inchs = 91cms plus 60cm lead on the 02sensor so hoping its long enough to get to the rear of the new cat *fingers crossed*

marcs_sp20 27-09-2012 10:41 PM

Biking & Rico - Circuit has Carbing Front & Rear strut braces, find out where he got his from ;)

Oh and AutoExe = rebranded Carbing strut braces ;)
