Dizzy ignitor woes, can I get a second opinion?
 

Hey all

car is refusing to start today, and I have no spark at all on the plugs.
I rekon its the ignitor, but I just want to go over the symtoms and get a second opinion

So to start off with, I noticed I had a lumpy/irregular idle, which would play up under load too. Then the car just wouldn't start one day.
I had a spare dizzy (in an unknown/probably not very good condition) which I put in and away I went. still lumpy idle. 2 days later, it died too
Cleaned points and whatnot- no difference

I think its the ignitor, but could there be something in my car thats killing them?
I know that sounds stupid but it has just killed 2. tho 1 was probably ****e to begin with...

I dunno, I just need to rant I think :mad:
