Today All Sydney siders woke up to an orange morning !!! :eek:

A day the visibility was limited to 10-15 meters!
A day your air filter had to work its best to keep the dust out!
A day your CAI sucked in dust like a vacuum cleaner!
A day even the yellow halogen headlights looked like white HIDs!! HIDs looked even whiter!!
A day you'd kill your self if you forgot and left your cloths out to dry over night!
A day that brings a big smile on owners of car wash places!!
A day Sydney water will profit from all that water usage!

Far out man, i'll admit the first pic looks amazing! but it would freak you out apparently its heading north to us QLD folk, i'll remember to park my car in the garage when it does hit

A dust storm originated from outback (broken hill, hence the red dirt/dust) and hit Sydney early morning. all flights driveled to Melbourne and Canberra, all ferries canceled, etc

Far out can u imagine how much dust its gonna leave around when it blows over

In Logan, the sky is just beige. But I can only just see Daisy Hill Forest from my house, which is only a couple kms away!

You're only a couple hours north of me, so I wouldn't be surprised if it does. But you might be safer being near the coast.

All the colour is washed out outside down here, it's like sepia mode on my camera!

definatly got more coming over though gav...no where near as bad as sydney here but still doesnt look like anyone would wanna go outside...

I read on TOCAU that it's orange down the Gold Coast already. So it might start looking funky here any moment. :eek:

ok so i went for my morning smoke.. around 11.. and the sky was beige, slowly more and more it turned orange... holly fkn sht the sky is orange the sun is PINK FFS man im not looking forward to driving... looks like a massive fire storm is just out of reach....

my office is full of dust, show room full of dust...warehouse full of dust...can only taste dust and im inside :@ and all i can see is dust!!! i hate dust!!! i hope you can tell :p haha i dont wanna do the cleaning!!!

its a dull orange here in ipswich, and wasnt smart of me to walk 200m to get my lunch...

A friend of mine sent me a photo of her standing in the carpark of the bp/macca's at gatton, you xant even see the maccas sign 15m away :eek:
