worked it out. went to the smash repair around the corner and he said to use a caramel wheel which will cost me $8 or he will do it for me using his for a 6 pack so i figured he would do a better job.
also put on the smokey clear indicators and a blue led in the glove box and changed the numberplate lights to LEDs.
