Hey there,

I thought I would start a project log because I can see myself spending a lot of time with this car and I have many many ideas for it!

So recently, I purchased this 1995 Mazda 323 Astina Hatchback for just $1500, as a small car to run around on while my other project, (EL Ford Fairmont Ghia) was off the road. In the few days I've had it so far, I've seriously grown to love this little corner hugging car and it's POWA, which was very surprising to me from a little 1.8. :P

So far, I'm trying to get everything good on the car, I can't expect much for 1500 bucks, and I knew to keep it on the road there were going to be some dollars spent.

So far, I've gone through having the nut on the end of the axle, come extremely loose, and close to letting the axle coming out.
I've found water in the door (turns out it's ok for it to be there, just need to clean the drainage holes a little.)
The car is missing some pieces and the paint is in a terrible state, so I gave the paint some treatment with some Meguire's Scratch X. The paint then come up okay.
I've changed the headlight bulbs to Phillips 4300K Crystal globes.
I have also written up a list of items for the car too that I need, which I will post and hopefully some member can help me with that.

Here are some pics of how it stands now.

Current plans;
-Lowering
-18s
-New Extractors
-New Exhaust
-Cams
-Re-Spray
-Sound System
-Few Interior and Smaller Mods
