ok, so phil and I have determined that (MY 35W single globe and ballast) draws 80W of power, it has a low inital start, then builds to 80W after 2-3 seconds then settles down to its running Wattage. meaning. these ballasts are not 35W out, or are very inefficient. because they never really get warm I can only guess they put out closer to 40W. I am sorry but i dont have the equipment to test that sorry
