Autobarn sells a 5X7 to 6.5 adapter, I saw one last time I was there.
As far as the plug in the door goes it took me only a couple of minutes to remove the plugs fit the wiring and put it back together.
Good luck and take your time, the last thing you want is a screwdriver through your cone.
