Well wasn't random as such. House fire - started in garage and the Astina was parked near roller door so bumper melted 95% and no bonnet (also toasted in garage) as engine was just dropped in etc.

Video footage here - media loves stuff like this:

Sons 1st car is the White 323 and only had about 20 log book hours to go for his P's. Only had valve cover to put on and it was mechanically finished! Bye bye Weber 32/36

Mrs wanted me to leave car (Astina)... but I took it (flatbed tow truck) to my Old Man's place. Spent around $800 so far on it and just couldn't walk away in finishing my youngest Daughters 1st Car project
  • New front struts and boots/bump stops
  • New front strut mounts
  • Super pro bushes front end
  • Brand new A/C compressor - Japan
  • Full Timing belt kit and WP
  • ALL seals - cam, oil pump, rear / tranny, new sealant on pan etc
  • Tranny filter and sealant
  • Brand new indicators (in boot at the time, yay!)
  • NGK zx19 leads, rotor button and cap (distributor burnt in garage)

Probably some other stuff...
