so today i under took my own quest of fitting a FS intake cam int to my FP

for the differences :

FP: 225 duration, 7.9mm lift

FS: 241 duration, 8.6mm lift

the FP has an overlap of 6deg

the FS has an overlap of 7deg

with the FS intake and FP exhaust you get an overlap of 11deg

so not massive spec difference, and power gain wise not really all that noticable, but power curve has been moved completely, the FP sufferes badly down low and then really cam alive at 4000k mark, now my car has a nice smooth power curve from about 2-2500k mark up to 5500 then really comes alive goes to limiter really easily, my biggest problem now is the limiter being to low,

so over all i have no idea if its quicker or slower as i said not a massive noticable power difference but the power curve has been shifted and changed over all i will be driving the car like this for 3 weeks untill i go to the drags again and see what the difference is, if it's worst i will probly keep it like this still as i CBF to swap it back, but i'm thinking it could only be worst because the engine isn't able to rev to its power band,

and at the end of the day cost me nothing at all had everything laying around and it was just a matter of staying back at work 4 and extra 3 hours,

of and i also got this today

my new perry muffler was a nice little addition also

i also now have a very slight cam sound to the exhaust note at idle
