Hi guys,

I have a 94 BA hatch with the 2.0 KF V6 and she is blowing butt loads of smoke (i've been told valve stem seals and possibly oil rings are done). I am sitting at almost 260000 km's on the clock and I am about to run into financial difficulty due to starting uni this year full time. What I was hoping to find out... would it be 'better/cheaper' for me to get an entire replacement engine or get my engine rebuilt?

I have been qouted roughly $2200 to get a replacement with only 110000 km's on it from a local guy here in Brisbane.
