Demanius, a heads up. I wouldn't be using the DE ECU if you are going to the trouble of purchasing a genuine ZE. JDM ECU's are not hard to find or expensive either & you will need the MAF to suit as well. phildough has said he will be able to sort this too as NZ has these come up fairly often

Just be aware the ZE isn't that spectacular bud. It has a different 'pronounced' torque curve due to the different size/shaped head ports, cams & inlet runners. Pulls noticeably hard from about 4-4500rpm to redline. I have owned both DE & ZE's and the hype is really just that. The DE's are quick off the mark but you don't get the torque of the ZE's engine in the upper rev range which it's designed for......

oh & change out the timing belt, water pump etc prior to installing the ZE too
